BART'S FC in Choma Zambia Africa, you can help!!!
Tax deductible
In 2014 we started a small football(soccer) club in Choma, Zambia, Africa. At that time, the Showgrounds Football Club was made up of 20-30 guys from Choma. We financially supported the team so that they could play in the local leagues and tournaments. WE also gave money so they coals have actual soccer balls instead of using a trash bag ball like this this one:
In 5 years the FC(Now named BART'S FC) has become a safe place for youth(8-18 years old) to pursue their dreams of playing professional soccer.

Any given week we have 80-150 kids participate int he FC. Many of the kids in the club are orphans who have no family and have been forced to live on the street. Others come from extremely poor families and have little to no hope.
This year we started a girls club as well. Our goal is to give girls the opportunity to excel in soccer and have a safe place to be with people who genuinely care about them.
Statistically most boys in Zambia will be unemployed and turn to alcohol at a young age. Unfortunately many of the young girls turn to prostitution and sex trafficking in order to make money for their families.
The FC is successfully keeping kids out of alcoholism and sex trafficking.
Our coaches not only focus on soccer but more importantly they share the Gospel Story of Jesus Christ with the kids. Each team participates in weekly devotions and many of the kids have come to know Jesus and become active in their local churches.
Coach Misheck Siakula has done an amazing job. The 18U team has won the Amateur National Championship and several other big tournaments. They recently took 2nd place out of 54 teams at the Zambian Division 4 level. BART'S FC has now been promoted to a Professional Team. The top team will play in Division 3 this coming season. At the pro level they will play in over30 matches and need to travel to over 15. The team is responsible for referee fees and field costs as well. They only have two balls and are in desperate need for more.
Our close family and friends have given money each year to keep the FC up and running. With the recent promotion to the Pro level our annual budget just grew quite a bit.
PLEASE join us as financial partner and help us make a difference on the other side of the world. Your money will help with the following:
-Soccer Balls
-Referee Costs
-Field Fees
-Food and Water for the teams
-Some cleats and uniform items
-Transportation to and from away games
-Registration of Players, Coaches and FC with FAZ
-On national holidays we throw parties for the FC so the kids aren't tempted to go into town and get involved with alcohol and sex.
Registration is this coming weekend. Please feel free to contact if you have any questions.
I promise your tax deductible donation will be used wisely.
Thank you and may God bless you!
Love,
Bart Barker
