Israel's Sick Baby Fund

We need to raise money for a very sick newborn baby boy who has a severe form of sepsis and is fighting for his life. He is a foster child in the care of my sister, Linda Manhardt who is a missionary and foster mother in a village in the Philippines.  The baby was abandoned by his mother and my sister offered to take him in as a foster child after learning about him. She is currently the only foster mother in the region. There is no financial or medical help from the government for foster care. Israel is less than two weeks old, and has already been in the hospital for one week. He will need to remain in the hospital for at least another week.  Linda is using her personal credit card to pay for his care, and she needs our help to pay it off. She receives very little compensation as a missionary, and this a great burden for her to bear. Israel is a beautiful baby with huge brown eyes and has dimples on both cheeks  when he smiles....yes he already smiles in response to loving voices!

Please consider helping support the medical care of this precious little guy.

If more funds are raised than are needed for Israel's medical care, the excess will be used for his continued expenses while in foster care, or for formula and medical care for other babies that have been receiving assistance administered by Linda. There are currently six babies receiving help. Lives are being saved, and you can be a part of it!
