40th birthday gift

This isn't complicated. I'm turning 40 soon. And for my birthday, I'm getting a new (fairly substantial) tattoo.

If you were unsure what to get me for this monumentous achievement, you could contribute to the fun fund. It'd mean a lot. Plus I'd have a new tattoo to show off, as a way to always remember getting old(er).

Yes, it's a lot of money. But, for a start, it's gonna be beautiful, done by this artist. Also, it's a big deal kind of age. Also also, I don't think it's a great idea to skimp on body art.

Anything over the cost of the tat goes to feeding me dinner on my bday. In case you were wondering.
