Family, Friends and Anonymous Angels,
As many of you may already know my uncle Brian has become very sick this past week from kidney failure. At this point there is nothing further doctors can do to save his life. He is now in hospice care. He is at peace and has informed his doctors and family that he is ready to "go home".
My uncle never really had much but what he did have was the love of his children and family. He has two teenage children that he raised as a single father for the last 7 years. He does not have any life insurance or money set aside to help support his two children or pay for funeral cost.
This responsibility has now been taken on by my mother, his sister, Pam. She is the most compassionate person I know. But also stubborn and prideful. She did not hesitate to take on raising two teenagers and I know she will do everything she can to make sure they don’t want for anything again. Because of her caring nature she will do whatever it takes to put a smile on your face, weather she has the funds to do so or not. I know she will now struggle financially and refuse to ever as for help. So I am doing it for her. This week alone thousands have been spent to take care of loose ends. When my uncle does pass the family asks that instead of sending flowers to please donate to this fund. It will be appreciated more than any of you will ever know.
