Nugado's Corneal Ulcer Eye Surgery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Nugado and normally I am a very happy, pug who lives with my mom Renee, my son dog Scoobie Do and my cat bro Kibby.
Last week, my eye got injured. I don’t even know how but it hurts a LOT. My mom took me to my vet and she has been putting drops in my eye every six hours. Neither of us have had much sleep and we’re all really worried I might lose my eye!
This is what my vet said:
"Nugado has two deep corneal ulcer's that have progressed to the point that occupies 90 percent of the corneal thickness which could risk the perforation (which could lead to the loss of his eye). These deep or “melting” ulcers require aggressive medical treatment and will need surgical intervention to salvage the eye."
"He needs Corneal Graft Surgery to save his eye!”
The ulcer's are painful and Nugado has been on treatment for six days but the ulcer's are not responding to appropriate medical therapy and are getting deeper.
We pugs are not known for good eye sight, so just having one would be difficult. To save my eye is the best option me.
If you can donate to help us afford the expensive Corneal Graft surgery to save my eye, my family REALLY appreciates it!
Thank you,
Nugado, Scoobie Do, Kibby and Renee
