Sometimes life brings challenges that no family should ever have to face. Sam and Vicki Wilkes are living through one of those seasons.

Vicki has been in the hospital for 11 months, fighting through serious health complications while being separated from her home, her family life, and the simple comforts we all take for granted. Her strength and courage have been nothing short of inspiring.

During this time, Sam — her husband — has carried the weight of everything at home. Recently, he required hip surgery, leaving him unable to work and adding even more strain to an already difficult situation. With both of them unable to earn an income and medical needs continuing to grow, this beautiful family is struggling to make ends meet.
