Hi and hello everyone, my name is Arlene Aiten. I'm doing this GoFundMe for my uncle who has just recently passed on 12-19-2025. This was all unexpected for us, his family. Everyone knows my uncle as a strong, caring, loving, and devoted uncle. He has left everyone saddened by his sudden passing. The holidays are just a few days away, and I know everyone has planned out their holiday celebrations. My family and I had made plans, but it turns out, we're making plans for another reason. Its all started on October 08 2025, we sorrowfully lost our grandmother, the matriarch who shared an unbreakable bond with him(the baby of the family). my grandma stood tall, a strong and resilient figure, until the painful betrayal by those she had given life to broke her heart. her passing was a significant blow, but my uncle's resolve to keep going was a powerful tribute to their relationship. his strength was tested on December 7th 2025. and the gravity of his condition became clear as he was moved to ICU. the morning of December 9th was particularly harrowing, with four cardiac arrests that underscored the critical nature of his situation. Despite the odds, he showed glimmer of hope, responding to the care of the medical team. however, the news od December 13 2025 was dire- a fifth cardiac arrest and the revelation that he had suffered brain damage due to lack of oxygen. the subsequent news that he was brain dead and the possibility of needing to amputate his leg due to blood close were heavy blows. ultimately, on December 19th 2025 at 3:30p.m I made the heart-wrenching decision to remove him off ventilator and be put to comfort care, and he peacefully took his last breath at 4:46p.m. my uncle was a pillar of strength and love, always there for others, and we hope that in our time of need, others will step forward as he did for them. may we all find solace and peace during this holiday season. Thank you and God bless
