This is like one of the hardest things I've ever had to put myself in the position of doing. I am a very independent single mother and I have done what it takes to maintain my home for many, many years. But, let me tell you, when it started to rain, it seemed that the storm may never end. Two and a half years ago my best friend, my rock, my  very own mom left  me to be with our Heavenly Father. I thought life would never be the same, but what I realized is that life would continuously change. My brother committed suicide 1 year after my mom passed away. Over and over again, my faith would be tested because my father passed away 4 months ago, leaving me with only my mentally disabled brother as my closest living relative. My home burned down on July 22, 2015. I inherited the home from my mother when she passed away and everything that I have of her is melted away. All my memories of my mom are no longer. All I could grab were my kids, my purse and my mother's urn. I need to start over, from scratch. My kids are starting school on Monday and I have started looking into other resources for housing assistance and the like. But, there are so many things I have worked for that I no longer have and starting over will be a long journey for me.
