Boy needs D.A.D -Diabetic alert dog

This is Landon he is 12 yrs old and he is Type 1 Diabetic. He was diagnosed January 2010 when he was 4 yrs old. He is insulin dependent with an insulin pump. He is an energetic boy that just wants to live a some what normal life. He will have this the rest of his life unless there is a cure found.  We struggle everyday with his sugars. This has been a life changing event for the hole family.  Landon is the oldest of 6 kids and the only one that has this. We go day to day not knowing what it will bring for him. Its very scary for the hole family. Landon has a wish to get a service dog that will help him out with alot of things. The dog can help by alerting Landon or another adult that his sugars are going low or high, can retrieve juice or glucose tabs, get his glucose meter, and can even dial 911 if needed with a special devise hooked up to a landline phone. When Landon goes to school it's very scary for his family. What if something went wrong and he didnt get the care he needed, The dog can go with Landon and alert them when something is wrong. This dog could save Landons life but where not able to pay for all of it. The cost for the dog is $15,000.  Thats a huge amount for a dog but when it's your child you would do anything for them. Please help my son get his dog  and let him be some what of a normal boy.
