Emergency Vet Bills

This morning we woke up to one of our seven rescue cats crying in pain. After rushing her to the emergency vet we were met with the devastating news that she had fractured her back leg in such a way that would require either surgery, which could lead to further complications, or amputation. Our vet visit bill came out to a gut punching $1,000 for pain management and X-rays, and we are expecting a minimum of another 1,000 for amputation, or $5,000 minimum for repair. No option for payment plans in sight. As many of you are aware, we have already been dealing with financial crisis due to my (Stevies’) personal health and inability to work at the moment, and this has been yet another unexpected stress.

We are humbly coming to ya’ll and asking for support here. Maybelle is a dear part of our family, and we want nothing more than to be able to give her the care that she needs, but we cannot do it alone.
