Steven Johnson

This fundraiser is in memory of Steven Johnson, a much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who was sadly taken away from us far too soon. In Aberdeen, Scotland on Sunday March 12th, Steven had been out for a couple of drinks to celebrate his upcoming birthday but never returned home. He had been on the receiving end of a serious assault, which resulted in a stem bleed on his brain and a fractured skull, doctors described his brain as turned to “mush”. He instantly slipped into a coma and was on life support until Tuesday March 14th at 18:56pm, when Steven was announced brain dead and had sadly passed away. I wanted to set up this page to help ensure Steven gets the best send off he deserves and to help support his 7 children and 4 young grandchildren, who have all been affected by this huge, heartbreaking loss. The whole family are understandably absolutely destroyed, their loving Dad/Grandfather has been stolen away from them and they’ve been robbed of making any more memories, having any more laughs, drinks or hugs. They will always cherish the memories they have made but that is just not enough.. None of their lives will ever be the same again and it’s something nobody ever expects to happen to them. No child should ever have to see their Dad on life support and it being turned off.. that is an image they’re going to have to live with for life.
