It is with an extremely sad and heavy heart that I reach out to my friends, family and strangers alike for help and support.

This will come as a surprise to most; Jen has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer and for the past several weeks has been taking heavy IV treatments of Chemotherapy with surgery to follow then months of recovery.

We were lucky enough to get her into the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, a 2-hr drive.  Some weeks we have to be there two or three times for follow ups, tests and counseling. Managing the intensity of the treatments is overwhelming and the side effects you've heard about, are real. 

With Jen only being at her new position for a little over 6 months, our insurance package isn't the best and will end in a few months. The medical bills coming in are staggering.

I'm sure you know, I would never ask for such support for myself, but for Jen I'd lasso the moon. So, I'm asking you to lend a hand financially and help empower her to vigorously battle this cancer, recover and win. I keep reminding her that she is not alone in this fight and that others are standing alongside her, so don't give up.
