Hi, my name is Corynne, and I am fundraising for my best most loyal friend, my dog Baz Cody.

Baz is my registered ESA animal, 4 year old Collie mix. He is pure sunshine in the form of a dog! And not only is he my pure joy, but he brings happiness to my family and friends and all who meet him out and about in Oceanside, CA.

Last weekend, what we assumed to be a sprained ankle turned out to be a necrotic infection. The doctors are speculating that Baz was bitten by a brown recluse spider and that the venom manifested from his inner ankle outward. The infection has killed all the soft tissue within his back right leg and is continuing to spread.

Unfortunately, this infection has already spread so fast that amputation is the only clear solution to save my Baz's life. His surgery and after care has been estimated to be over $10,000. I have literally exhausted all of my means this week towards his emergency care to this point and can't help but reach beyond my family and ask for assistance to save him. He means the world to me!
