Rio's Washington DC Trip

ALoha, My name is Rio Chopot from the Big Island of Hawaii!   I'm a seventh grader at Volcano School of Arts and Sciences and our class is planning a great trip to Washington D.C. next March 2016.  We're all doing our best to raise funds to get there, and since this is a way, I'm trying it!

I need to raise $3000 that will cover roundtrip airfare from Hawaii, hotel, meals and transportation, excellent educational tour guides through the World Strides Discover Now! Programs, and more. 

This trip not only will support my social studies/history curriculum at middle school, but will be an awesome experience for a 13-year-old American boy from a little country town in Hawaii!   Thanks for your help!

Update as of Oct. 20, 2015:  Through this campaign and other fundraising and scholarships, I have only $1,100 more to raise of the original $3000+ cost!  Mahalo to everyone who helps...you are awesome!
