Hola! Mi nombre es Fatima Solís. Soy parte del Staff de Tu Misión, AC. Una ONG para el Desarrollo que desde 2007 impulsa proyectos humanitarios y educativos en distintas partes del mundo a través de Expediciones Misioneras.

Este año tengo el privilegio de hacer un Viaje Misionero a India. Durante esta expedición haremos equipo con misioneros que viven en diferentes áreas: lugares marginados, pobreza extrema, aldeas alejadas y grandes ciudades. 
 
ESTE ES UN VIAJE ESTRATÉGICO pues es la preparación para movilizar jóvenes latinos al Sur de Asia a partir de 2017: apoyaremos la labor que realizan entre los más necesitados y estudiaremos qué proyectos podemos realizar, costo, beneficio, impacto, etc.

¿POR QUÉ HACEMOS VIAJES MISIONEROS? 
Los Viajes o Expediciones Misioneras son experiencias transformadoras y emocionantes para los expedicionistas, los misioneros en el campo y las comunidades beneficiadas. 
Nos esforzamos en organizar Expediciones profesionales porque hemos visto los muchos beneficios que trae a la vida de un expedicionista: 
Amplía su perspectiva de la vida y del mundo al sumergirlos en la necesidad de otros.
Desafía su zona de confort, desafía sus miedos, forma su carácter y los impulsa a tomar iniciativa.
Permite que valoren y agradezcan lo que tienen en casa.
Los acerca a Dios. Aprenden a conocerlo y darlo a conocer. 

¿Por qué India? 
Con más de 1,200 millones de habitantes, India es el 2do país más poblado del mundo. Una nación inundada de pobreza, desnutrición, discriminación y analfabetismo. 
Hay gente que es "propietaria" de niños que mendigan para ellos, niños que han sido vendidos por sus padres y mutilados a propósito cuando eran bebés "para dar más lástima" y así lograr mejores ganancias. Siendo un país secular que garantiza la libertad de culto, el 82% de la población profesa el hinduismo, el 12% el islamismo y el 4% el cristianismo. El hinduismo no es una religión, sino una familia de religiones. En su forma popular es idólatra, estimándose el número de sus dioses en 33 millones! Un concepto muy arraigado del hinduismo es que hay que llegar hasta el ser superior, y para esto hay muchas formas de hacerlo. Por esto mismo es que resulta tan ofensivo para ellos que Jesús sea el único camino hacia Dios. Es triste e impotente saber que muchos en este país pasaron a la eternidad sin escuchar hablar de Cristo.
Queremos empezar en India porque es un país donde hay tantos clamores sin respuesta, hay un llanto que viene desde el mismo corazón de India, donde la gente necesita saber que hay una esperanza.

Hello there! My name is Fatima Solis. I'm part of staff in Tu Misión AC. An organization for Development since 2007 that impulses humanitarian and educational projects in different parts of the world through Missionary Expeditions projects.

This year I have the privilege of doing a mission trip to India. During this expedition we will team up with missionaries who live in different areas: marginalized areas, extreme poverty, remote villages and big cities.
 
This is a strategic journey as we are preparing to mobilize Latino youth in South Asia from 2017: we will support their work among the needy and study which projects we can do, the costs, benefits, impacts, etc.

WHY DO MISSION TRIPS?
Missionary Travels and Expeditions are transformative and exciting experiences for expedicionists, missionaries in the field and the beneficiary communities.
We strive to organize professional Expeditions because we have seen the many benefits it brings in the life of an expedicionist:
It expands its outlook on life and the world as we immerse them in the needs of others.
It challenges their comfort zone, their fears, shapes their character and encourages them to take initiative.
It allows them to value and be thankful for what they have at home.
It brings them closer to God. They learn to know Him and make Him known.

Why India?
With more than 1,200 million people, India is the 2nd largest population in the world. A nation flooded in poverty, malnutrition, discrimination and illiteracy.
Some people are "owners" of children begging for them, children who have been sold by their parents and mutilated on purpose when they were babies so people can feel "sorry" for them  and achieve higher profits. Being a secular country that guarantees freedom of religion, 82% of the population profess Hinduism, 12% Islam and 4% Christianity. Hinduism is not a religion, but a family of religions. In its popular form it is an idolater, estimating the number of their gods at 33 million! A deeply rooted concept of Hinduism is that you get to the Higher Self, and for this there are many ways to do it. For this reason it is so offensive to them that Jesus is the only way to God. It is sad and helpless to know that many in this country passed into eternity without hearing about Christ.
We want to start in India because it is a country where there are so many unanswered cries, there is a cry that comes from the heart of India, where people need to know that there is hope.
