I've been in contact with my friend Jennifer from High School recently through social media. I kept seeing her posts over the last year or so about her eye. Apparently, there was some sort of malfunction with a car airbag that caused permanent damage to her eye. You can kind of see it in the photo. In any event, the doctor gave her the sad news that her eye is going to have to be removed. She does not have enough money to buy a prosthetic eye. The cost of the prosthetic eye is about $5800 and with the percentage go fund me takes, I'm asking for a donation of $6000 total. I see on social media there are all these causes you can have people give to when it's your birthday and I would really appreciate it if you would please give towards this cause for mine. She was very hesitant to have me do this because she is a kind person and thinks of others first and with all the trauma everyone else has been through this past year...but I think we can all help her out. She is a beautiful girl...always thought she had the look to be a model...not sure why she never pursued it...but we can't have her walking around with a patch...that will not do.

Just a quick update...Jen told me that it was not a malfunction of the airbag because if it had been she would be in the Bahamas right now sippin cocktails on her private yacht...The insurance company confirmed that...but nevertheless, the damage was done.
