Help Lay Our Father to Rest

My father's deceased body was found on Thanksgiving Day. He was a lifelong alcoholic, and unfortunately, it beat him; his fight finally ended at the age of 64. He wasn't the best dad in the world, but he left behind 3 kids and 6 grandchildren. I am the only one of the 3 kids wanting to lay him to rest, but unfortunately, with this happening right before Christmas, it's not looking like I can afford to do this on my own. He is in California and I live in Texas. I am having to find a way to get over there and its a really long way. Flights are expensive and a lot of the money will just go towards travel. I am willing to drive but that will still be out of my budget. I am wanting to just do a basic cremation for him and buying an urn possibly. I am asking for help from anyone who can spare some. Even though I wasn't a priority to him, I can't do the same to him. I want to show him that I turned out to be a great person with or without him. Thank you!❤️
