Save Luna: Urgent Vet Care Needed

Get to know Luna:♥️ She is only 4 years old & has a sister from another litter the same age. They are inseparable and Luna is fiercely protective of her anxious sister, they once got out of our house for 2 days and we found them in an old shed in the back of our property curled up together & Luna hissing at anything that came close, protecting her petrified sister Luna loves to play fetch exactly like a dog, she has a favorite fluffy green ball that she will find and bring to us & meow for us to throw it, she'll chase it & bring it back until she's full on panting like a dog and laying down♥️

What happened: On 5/23/25 we went to feed our cats & noticed our girl Luna's skin was literally peeling off of her body, we rushed her to an Emergency Vet in Sandy where we informed them we have no money due to my Fiance losing his job 2 weeks ago, and I am 4 months pregnant with our first baby & we do not qualify for CareCredit, but to please help us. They were kind enough to take her vitals, clean her wound, prescribe us a 5 day supply of antibiotics & pain medication, gave her an E collar and wrote up a recommendation list of tests/treatments that the doctor believes she needs. $350 service, all free of charge. I couldnt be more thankful for the kindness of that doctor, but Luna isn't out of the woods by any means, she still needs a proper diagnosis and hundreds of dollars in bloodwork & Xrays & aftercare. She is in critical condition as she has no skin protecting her abdomen and she needs to be kept in a kennel 24/7 separated from her sister and monitored constantly, we just lost my soul dog in October of last year and I can't handle losing another one of my fur babys again... not only do I not know what we'd do without her, I dont know what her sister would do without her she's been crying and sleeping on the kennel her sister is in non stop since we brought her back home, I worry if we lose Luna, our other sweet girl Athena won't be far behind her sister. Any contributions will be more appreciated than you could ever understand♥️ the Emergency doctor saw a chance & the spirit in Luna and was willing to give us a helping hand, Im only hoping that if enough people see that same spirit in our girl that doctor did & we do, we could get her the help she needs & save her life.
