I hope you and your family are safe, healthy and staying positive during this uncertain time in our lives.
I began my massage therapy business in 2002 with the dream of helping people. I am so grateful for my clients, who have not only trusted me with their bodies but have also become close, important relationships. It breaks my heart to be away from my work “family.” I know many are suffering both emotionally and physically during this uncertain time and I look forward to the day my hands can help to heal again.
With that said, I am tirelessly working to insure I have an office to return to and provide you with massage and bodywork therapy. Unfortunately, COVID19 and the order to close business has caught us unprepared for months of loss of income & rents, while minimal operating expenses continue to grow and government aide is in short supply and high demand. It is with deep gratitude and a sense of humility that I start my #smallbusinessrelief campaign.
Your donation not only will help keep Christie & Co. Massage Therapy operational, but more importantly warms my heart directly. Funds raised will be used to recover from months of loss of income and rents, plus the cost of mortgage, HOA dues, property taxes, insurance and ongoing necessary expenses. Funds raised will also assist me in preparing for additional COVID19 precautions & protocol we are committed to implementing, making your next massage as safe as possible - “I’ve got your back.”
Our community has shown such support for one another and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it. GoFundMe’s #smallbusinessrelief is matching $500 in grants and has helped small businesses just like mine survive. This means your donation of any amount helps me even further. I can’t wait to pay it forward when I can!
With gratitude and appreciation,
Christie

CA Gov. Newsom update April 28: Phases to reopening businesses will take months (not weeks) to reach "stage three" to open higher-risk workplaces with limits, such as hair, nails, gyms and spas (massage therapy).
