Ishaara at VCU

We are VCU Ishaara, VCU’s premier Bollywood Fusion dance team. As a dance team, we perform different styles such as Bhangra, Bollywood, Hip hop, Indian Classical, and Kuthu. This is going to be our third year competing as a ranked team, placing 3rd last year at Motor City Dhamal and 3rd at UAB. Since placing, we strive to keep practicing our skills and compete at more competitions this upcoming year.

With excitement comes great worry as recently we learned that our annual school funding has been cut from $6,000 annually to $1,200 annually and it costs us $10,000 annually to run as a team. This includes competition applications, application fees, production costs, flight tickets, hotel, merchandise, etc. We would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide by donating and/or sharing this GoFundMe link with others!
