Hello all. Most of you know and see me as a strong individual who typically perseveres through any and everything. As of lately, I’ve found myself to be a single parent going through a divorce from a military service member. For the past 5-6 months, I’ve received no financial support from my estranged husband and now find myself faced with having to move and downsize to become financially stable. Over the past month, my car has been repossessed and yet, I wake up daily with a smile, fighting back and hiding my tears. My children deserve so much more and better, and daily I strive to give this to them. I’ve reached out to the command of my estranged husband who has not provided any reinforcement of what a service member is supposed to do, and that is to provide for their family and children. Any and all help is appreciated as I’m now in a situation that is proving very challenging for me.
