Dave's Final Journey

Dave Kratochvil was a vet tech and worked with me at Eastfield Hospital for Animals for 10 years before his diagnosis with esophageal cancer. Chemo bought him 3 more years, but it stopped working recently. As of today, 4/23/21, he is in hospice care at home (his wish), unable to eat or drink. His time is very short, so as his friend, I am raising enough funds to cover his funeral expenses. Dave himself made all the arrangements just two weeks ago, and I promised to abide by his wishes. I am getting things started with my own donation. Any questions can be directed to me at Eastfield Hospital for Animals. Any funds over and above the funeral and burial expenses will be donated to a local non-profit animal rescue group. Dave brightened up many of our lives - the picture here shows him with a discarded mat of cat hair stuck to his chin as a "beard wig"  - typical Dave antics . His many friends would expect nothing less!
