Hi my name is SungHo and my wife's name is Julie. My parents made a huge sacrifice in 1998 to uproot their living situation and moved from Seoul to Seattle so that they could seek care from Seattle Children's neurosurgery team. By 2016 the medical team determined my brain tumor had not grown therefore I was considered to be in full remission.

2016 I also found the love of my life. July of 2021 we got married. Unfortunately December of 2021 I was admitted into the ER due to incredible headache and light headedness turns out my tumor has grown again and caused my brain to grow a massive fluid pocket in my brain (cyst) adding very large amount of pressure in my head. Fortunately the UW neurosurgery team was able to drain the cyst and the neurosurgeon (same one who operated on me back in 98'; small world!) was able to resect enough of the tumor so the cyst would not form again.

Since surgery December 2021 I have been going in for check ups. Unfortunately my tumor has been consistently growing again. And now we need to pursue further more aggressive treatment. 

Wife and I wanted to reach out for other's help so that we may have enough to meet our out of pocket maximum for our medical expenses for year of 2023.
