Superwoman

Hello everyone. As you already know, unfortunately Kirsty’s tumour has shown signs of regrowth so she undergoing treatment. Very fortunately she has been offered and is taking a brand new treatment drug called Vorasidenib which has been proven in America to give recipients more time and delay/slow down the progression of the tumour. It will hopefully therefore delay for as long as possible, the need for further surgery, radiotherapy and chemo. Amazing breakthrough treatments like this have come about in part as a result of the hard work and research of organisations and Charity’s like Brainstorm. Fundraising is so vitally important so that we can continue the fight and help them develop and discover more treatments like Vorasidenib in order to give sufferers like Kirsty more time and we pray one day, a cure!
This year we are back to the mountains but this time led by Superwoman herself - Kirsty! ❤️ At the end of May we will be summiting the highest mountain in the UK - Ben Nevis! ⛰️ We will be joined by Kirsty’s Sister Julie and Brother in Law David along with our friends Carly and Lewis. Kirsty has never climbed a mountain or done anything remotely like to this before. It will be a massive challenge for her as with us all but compared to the horrendously tough challenges she has already faced, this will just be a walk in the park for this wonderful, strong superwoman. ❤️ Please donate to our fundraiser if you can as every donation is greatly needed and appreciated! Thank you.
