As many of you know Tom Scheidt had a brain aneurysm while on a fishing trip to Alaska on July11th.  It is a miracle that he even survived.  He was airlifted to Anchorage Hospital and under went brain surgery to stop the bleeding four days later.  He has progressed daily.  The Scheidt Family is anxious to get him home to Merced to further the healing process. Tom has given generously to the community for the past 25 years.
      In order to get him home he will need a medi vac to transport him.  The cost is $60,000. and it is not covered by the medical insurance or traveler insurance Tom had purchased.  Many of you have reached out to see how you could help Tom and his family.  If we join together and give generously we can help Tom get home.  Please spread the word and let Tom and The Scheidt Family know how much we love them.
