Hi! This fundraiser is in support of the world's best cousin. Amy recently experienced vision loss and went in for testing. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor pressing on her optic nerve. Typically tumors in this area are benign (won't know until tested) and are removed with little complications. Although everything is in our favor, this surgery and recovery will still be a financial burden. She has been driving back and forth to Minneapolis for appointments to prepare for the 6 hour surgery. She will have a long and delicate recovery where she will be out of work for a few months. As we know our stoic Amis will not ask for help so I can do that part for her. This surgery will also demand she continue to attend appointments in Minneapolis for the next year to monitor her. It's possible the tumor could grow back. Please help us relieve some of her financial burdens of copays, deductibles and gas money. We are also accepting prayers, good thoughts and well wishes for a safe surgery and recovery.
