As most of you already know, Macy Cooke was involved in a car accident on Thursday September 24,2015. Her strenum was broken,her lungs were severly injured and lacerated,both legs and ankles shattered.Her legs and ankles will require multiple surgeries. When her femur was fractured, it punctured her chest. She also sustained head trauma to which the severity is still unknown. She spent about 11 days in ICU at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls until she was stable enough to be transported to John Peter Smith Memorial Hopsital in Ft Worth on October 5,2015. Here she will have the multitude of surgeries to repair her fractures and begin her long, arduous rehabilitation. After her countless surgeries, Macy's hospital stay is expected to be 2-3 moths with varied types of rehab to follow. A fund has been established to help Macy and her family through this difficult journey. This fund will enable her mother and siblings to stay with Macy during this whole ordeal.
