I'm begging if you see this to take the time to read this.

We've had no income for the past three weeks and rent is coming up again.

I got a small tax return that was spent on medical transportation, food, and necessities. I only have enough left to keep the internet on.

Our monthly rent is 1650 and our utilities add up to around 200 each month as well. out of all three of us in this apartment, we only have enough to cover half of the month's rent from my mom's ssi (not disability), but it's all due by the 5th or else we get hit with daily late fees of $50 which will make it impossible to catch up with in our situation. Eviction would prevent any of us from moving and create more complications as we are all in and out of hospitals and clinics due to medical reasons.

My mother and I are disabled and have both been out of work for over a year now. We've both applied and interviewed for jobs relentlessly with no luck, people don't want us because of our need for physical accommodations and lack of reliable transportation.

for the most part of last year and up until a few weeks ago, we were getting help from my bf's checks from worker's comp while he's on extended leave from work after breaking his ankle. he just had surgery on the 12th and will be disabled for the next 3 months. To top that off, the day of the surgery he received notice the company decided to terminate his employment. He's now waiting to hear back from unemployment for identity verification so he can apply for benefits, but until then the worker's comp checks have stopped coming. We’re in a slump once again.

I work daily to produce art in hope of receiving commission, and I do get them occasionally but never enough to cover even a dent in financial responsibilities which includes care for my (unofficial) service dog. I would also like to avoid having to rehome my cats. I can't handle the loss right now as I'm going through a major loss in the family and other stressors. I prefer to keep private in respect to myself and others involved.

So I made a gofundme. I'll keep putting in the effort, making calls and searching for resources, but for the time being I need a little more help than I'm comfortable asking for.

In an attempt to cover at least the next 3 months of rent and other expenses, I'm making an ultimate goal of raising at least $3500. But my first priority is to get the remainder of this month's balance of $850.

I'll also still be making art. My commission services are available on VGen, and I also take special creative requests via dm and email. I'm flexible with payments and believe in payment plans for those like me who can't afford luxury. I've started dipping my toes in writing a bit more too so would love to offer that as a service if anyone's interested.

I am desperate and have sat on the decision to make a fundraiser for longer than I'm willing to admit. It's not something I like doing, but a means for survival at this point after trying nearly everything and getting nowhere.
