Help Ari on Her Long Road Towards Recovery
Donation protected
We are raising money for Ariana (Ari) Lintner (my future step sister) to help her during her long road to recovery after being in a tragic car accident right in front of our house on Sunday, May 23rd. I am posting this fundraiser today, May 25th, Ari’s 17th birthday.
Ari was leaving our house with her boyfriend, Alex, and was hit directly on her driver side door by a pickup truck pulling a camper while pulling out of our driveway. Her father, Tim Lintner, (my future step dad) along with my mom heard the crash and were the first to the scene. Ari sustained multiple life threatening injuries, putting her in critical condition.
Ari needed to be airlifted to Milwaukee but was unable due to the weather and so she was rushed into emergency surgery at Aurora, where they thankfully stabilized her bleeding. She is now still in critical condition but stable in Milwaukee at the Children’s Hospital. She has undergone two major surgeries there already for her broken leg and internal organ damage and has more to come for her shattered pelvic and hip bones. Her boyfriend, Alex, has some minor injuries and broken ribs, but is thankfully doing alright.
We want to take a moment to thank the First Responders, Aurora Health Care, and The Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Without them, we would not be celebrating her 17th birthday today.
Your donations will be used to go towards her medical expenses, ongoing care and rehabilitation, future therapy and home care as she will have a very long road to recovery before hopefully being able to get back to being a normal teenager. Tim Lintner, her father, will be the beneficiary to fund her care.
This cause means a lot to our family as Ari is a vital part of it. She has been strong, fighting for her life but still has a long road ahead of her. We are so grateful she is still here with us to be celebrating her 17th birthday today. We want to give her the best care possible and the best chance at a successful recovery within this next year and we would be so grateful for your help in this process. Your support during this time would mean so much to our family and we appreciate any donations you are willing and able to make.
Thank you so much for your help, please keep Ari and our family in your thoughts and prayers.
Please share this link to spread awareness for Ari to help us support Ari in her recovery.
