As many of you know, Thomas and I lived in Cambodia for 15 months. During our time there, we became super close to a Cambodian family that lived across the street from us. We were charmed by their adorable 6 year old daughter and their sweet teenage son.

They now need our help. On Wednesday, Sept 3, Pich, the 15 year old son, was in a horrible motorbike accident. Attached are photos to show you how bad his injuries are. His injuries are mostly to his head, and to be honest, he is lucky to be alive. The family are in a hospital in neighboring Vietnam as the hospitals there had better care available.

Y'all, I'm worried. This family is poor. This family has never asked Thomas or me for a thing. They have welcomed Thomas and me into their country and into their lives in a way that has cemented our relationship with them for life. They need our help. Medical bills, travel, and recovery are going to take money that they frankly do not have.

PLEASE help if you can. Even a dollar goes so far in this situation. Every little bit truly does help in Cambodia.
