End of life & impending funeral costs

I'm taking the initiative to help Amanda crowd fund as a result of some trying conditions. Amanda has been burning the candle at both ends in raising a young family, transition careers, and attending school. To compound this, she has been taking care of her father while as a contractor and has no paid time off.

As a double amputee, and recieving dialysis treatments her father has also needed ongoing rehab care for wound care & infections among other conditions.

Recently Amanda has received some devistating news, her father having been released from rehab about a month ago should have received the news of his limited time left due to a diagnosis of calciphylaxis. Accumulation of calcium salts in a body tissue. It normally occurs in the formation of bone, but calcium can be deposited abnormally in soft tissue causing it to harden, such as the brain & other organs. Sadly, this news should have been shared immediately, but was delayed until recently with only a few weeks to a few months to live.  

This was an very unpleasant surprise. Amanda is upset and needs our help during this time. Amanda's father does not have any life policies for funeral costs, nor does Amanda have the ability to take time off to handle his affairs, and there is little time left to plan, she is overwhelmed as any of us would be.
