Hi, my name is Desiree and I am hoping to help my brother, Damon Williams, complete his bucket list.  Damon is my little brother and  he is 36 years old. He is active duty Navy and has served 5 tours of duty. He has always been physically active, running 5 miles a day and partiipating in as many activities as he could. He is warm, generous and funny. He enjoyed traveling with friends and with the Navy. When he was on his 5th  deployment in 2012 he began feeling ill. After multiple tests he was finally diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the small intestine in January 2013. He had surgery and they removed 10 inches of his small intestine. They thought they got it all but to be sure he endured 7 months of chemotherapy.  Unfortunately, it returned with a vengeneace in June 2014. At this point we went to MD Anderson for a second opinion. The news was not good. Damon was told that he is terminal. He has a very aggresive cancer that has metatasis throughout his body. He was told that without chemotherapy his life span would be 6 months. He was offered chemotherapy that may extend his life to 18 months. He has chosen this path because he has not completed his bucket list.  Throughout Damon's deployments his fvorite place he visited was Dubai. He has always wanted to return to this beautiful place . It would be my greatest wish for him to be able to make this trip. However, if this is not possible a trip to the Bahamas is also on his list. My brother, Damon, has given so much to our family and to our country. He is a true hero, and he is my hero. Please help me assist him in completing his bucket list.
