Dean's Medical fund

My Dad, Dean, was diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.  As most of you know, he retired from MCO a few years back and moved to Florida.  Now living on a fixed income, a lot less than he was making.  He originally went to his old doctor in Michigan when he noticed the lump on his testicle, the only one he trusted, and she then referred him to another doctor in Michigan for a second option.  The second doctor confirmed his fear it was cancerous.  Originally, they told him it was stage 2, but after a 3rd opinion, they told him it was stage 4 and a very rare and aggressive cancer.   That treatment needed to be started right away (August 2017) and they had already sent all stuff over to the insurance company for approval on chemotherapy treatments.  Well this put him in a hard spot, as he has his house, still does, in Florida, and now having to stay in Michigan at least 8 months.  In the meantime, my mother was still in Florida, and he was going to be starting treatment within 2 weeks.  So, had to fly my niece Tiara, down there to stay with my mother, and help her get up to Michigan to be with my dad.   Two days before the hurricane hit, my niece and mother packed the car and left for Michigan.  They have been hit with quite a few hardships along the way.  The house suffered some minor damage from the storm, not enough to file a claim but money out his pocket, bills for the house in Florida and then now bills for the second temporary house in Michigan.  Then my mom got into a car accident and of course it was just enough under that again no claim but more money out of their pocket.  Medical bill copays for both him and my mom. But my dads are mounting, and he is starting to feel the strain.  If you know my dad well enough, you would know he has a heart of gold and will always help anyone out in their time of need.  He is not one to ask for help.  He never has been, he has worked very hard for everything he has, and worked from the ground up.  So, I am asking if you can find it in your heart to help give something, even the smallest donation will help.  All the funds will be used to cover his medical bills and medications, which are insanely expensive.  If you cannot donate, please continue to keep him in your prayers, as he is in remission, but now ongoing radiation and still has a long road ahead of him.  And to please forward this on and share.
