Voice Acting Master Class

Voices for All

For the past 4 years I've been trying to find a way into the video game music industry as a performer. I've interviewed countless voice actors, musicians and composers on how to do this. From that I've learned that I want to do more than just sing, I want to be able to use the full scope of my voice, while also not limiting my potential.

I found Voices for All, and after researching them for a long while and talking to others, I've decided to reach out and ask for this help.  I've done two voice evaluations, in which I've rated pretty high skill wise.  They were done independently, and both coaches had the same reaction. I take direction well, have great diction, and they can hear emotion in my voice when I read scripts. I've never wanted to do something so much before that the thought of letting it pass by me actually hurts.  It's called the Master Class, and I would be taking the Bronze level.  The vocal instructor I've chosen is a classically trained singer, and we matched up so well. She is a Soprano and I'm excited to hopefully work with her.

I want to take the Bronze level class. It's only 16 one on one hour long sessions with a coach. They also teach me how to market myself, create demos, audition, and how to handle being self employed. The cost is $3140, and I would add an extra $300 for the studio certification where I would potentially have to add more sound treatment to my make shift studio so it can pass. That would set it to $3440. Stretch goals being the Silver level at $3740 with 23 sessions.

I've critically examined my current career as a counselor, and I am burnt out.  I have decided to make a career change for my life and wellbeing, and I believe doing something I am passionate about will get me there.

They do a payment plan, so if I reach this goal in sections, that is fine, I get to start. I've been trying to save money, but I can't save a lot per month due to paying my student loans, car repairs (I need to keep my car in order to be employed per my job description so I cannot take the bus) car payments, ect. Normal adult not out of the realm expenses.

I'm hoping in 1-2 years I can transition to being a full-time voice actor where I decide when I work, which contracts to take, and have full autonomy of my schedule and life. It will be a long road to reach this, but I'm no stranger to working hard, but seeing a light at the end of the tunnel will be nice.
