The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever gives iftar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 807; Ibn Majah, 1746. Classed as sahih by Ibn Hiban, 8/216 and by al-Albani in Sahih al-Jami’, 6415)

City Mosque Preston has long been a home away from home for many, especially for students of Central Lancashire University who find solace and community here. Over the recent past, we have been providing iftar meals during Ramadan, bringing together students, families, and individuals from all walks of life to share in the blessings of this holy month.

However, maintaining this cherished tradition requires your support. We are aiming to provide to over 7,000 iftar meals during this Ramadan إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ.
