Hugs for Harper

Donation protected
At just 20 months old, we all expected Harper to be learning new words, singing songs, chasing bubbles, running around with her twin sister, Sloane, and filling our days with giggles. Instead, our brave little warrior is fighting leukemia.

February 4, 2026 is the day our world stopped when Harper was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). What started as bruising and fatigue quickly turned into a doctor visit with the words no parent is ever prepared to hear: “Your child has cancer.”

Sweet little Harper started her first 10-day round of chemotherapy 2 days later.  Through it all, this tiny hero still manages to smile, cuddle with mom, dad and her favorite stuffed animal, Lamby, and show us what true strength looks like.

The Road Ahead
Treatment will include:
* Ongoing chemotherapy
* Frequent hospitalizations
* Specialist visits
* Possible transfusions and additional procedures
* Stem Cell Transplant

Doctors of the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago Pediatric Oncology team are doing everything they can, and we are holding onto hope every single day. But the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming.

How Your Support Helps
Your donations will go directly toward:
* Medical expenses not covered by insurance
* Day-to-day expenses for hospital stays
* Prescription medications
* Lost wages as Sean & Kara take time off work to care for Harper
* Everyday living expenses so they can focus fully on Harper’s healing

No family plans for cancer. No parent prepares for watching their toddler fight for their life. But we believe in the power of community, love, and prayer.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Harper’s name in your thoughts and prayers. Every share, every message, and every dollar makes a difference.

Thank you for standing with our family as we help Sean & Kara fight alongside our sweet Harper. We will continue to update you throughout this journey.
