Kevin Strong

Last month, a basketball charity game was held for Big Brother 19 veteran Kevin Schlehuber, who is currently a recovering Prostate Cancer Survivor.  This event was specifically put together to raise awareness and money to help Kevin pay for his medical expenses.  The game was a huge success and raised over $10K.  However, Kevin only received $500.   This is a charity event so Kevin deserves more!

Kevin doesn’t even know I am doing this, but as a fellow Bostonian (Tim WEBER) and more importantly as a fellow Cancer Survivor I know first hand how much out of pocket expenses are.  Kevin has a big family, but an even bigger heart. He’s the first guy who would give his shirt off his back go to help out someone else.  As a fan of Big Brother, watching the live feeds I got a feel for who he was as a human being and how selfless he was in all his great stories he told the other houseguests.  He has always opened his heart and home to others. He’s genuine, humble and never would ask for donations himself.  

It’s only fair that he gets his share of the donations.  Since the right thing does not appear to be happening, I decided to kick off this Go Fund Me to raise the money Kevin deserves to go towards his medical bills or just to donate to Prostate Cancer Research.

Kevin never ever gave up his fight with Cancer, so let’s not give up on coming together to give him the support he needs.  It’s a battle to beat Cancer, then it’s a struggle to pay for the treatments.
