In Memory of a Beloved Father: Support Needed

My father was a good man and should still be here today. He passed so unexpectedly from a tooth infection that wasn't treated by his dentist properly, as well as prescribed ibuprofen 800mg, which had adverse severe side effects with a medication he was currently on. It all could have been avoided! My father always did his best to help his friends, clients, and community in everything he did. He was the best dad a son could ever have. He taught me so much growing up, job skills that I will use for the rest of my life. He was active in his church and a great friend to many. He always went above and beyond, taking extra time on jobs, working 10-12 hour days, and would work 7 days a week if needed. Growing up, he coached me through little leagues every step of the way. After our games, he would always take the whole team to Pizza Hut and buy pizzas for the whole team and also give us all quarters to play the arcade games. He just wanted to see us happy and have a good time. He loved his cats. He would take in feral cats and make sure they were fed and healthy. My dad lived to fish; it was his quiet place to relax and be at peace. He worked as a custodian for an elementary school, in which he was always active in the school events for the kids. He had many close friends that were teachers there as well and always volunteered when in need. My father was a perfect example of an American blue-collar worker. He had great relationships with his clients, some of whom he's worked for and known for over 35 years. He will be remembered and missed by many. This fundraiser was made in his memory.
