Hello everyone! We’ve created this go fund me for Shawn Garcia, to help with his medical expenses. Any donation would be extremely appreciated.
On July 6th Shawn was in a terrible motorcycle accident. He was riding on the highway in San Antonio, when a car cut into his lane causing him to lose control and collide with the guard rail at a fast rate. His body was ejected from the bike and slammed into another car. The motorcycle was destroyed along with his helmet from the impact. Shawn is very lucky to be alive.
He was left with severe road rash and many broken bones. Right arm and hand fracture, broken nose, broken ankle and his right leg broke and really bad shape.
The right leg being the worst of the damage. The knee was completely destroyed. Left in a brace to not bend he underwent multiple surgery’s cleaning and trying to proceed with the best outcome. Shawn was left with a couple hard choices. It’s not going to be an easy road but he’s chosen to fight to keep his leg. The doctors have surgically added rods to his leg keeping it from moving. Once the leg has healed enough the plan is to undergo replacement knee surgery. With all these surgeries and not being able to walk he will have to rehab to able to get moving again.
Shawn has been laid up in the hospital for a couple very painful months. He has a long road to recovery. It’s not going to be easy but everyday we are thankful that he is alive and with us. Unfortunately life doesn’t stop and bills don’t either.
We’ve created this go fund me to help Shawn moving forward to a healthy recovery. The surgery’s haven’t stopped and there is more in the future. He is faced with a mountain of medical bills and a tough road to be back in working shape. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. All money will go directly to Shawn and getting him comfortable to face the battles ahead.
