On April 20th, 2025, I began having difficulty walking and breathing without getting exhausted extremely rapidly.
Something was clearly wrong with my health, but I was not certain what the issues were, due to the fact I had been battling Type 2 Diabetes since my ex passed from breast cancer in 2008. After a visit to my doctor for a check-up, he noticed that my heart was beating weird and immediately put me on heart medication to help treat some of the symptoms.
Unfortunately, I started having some issues with dizziness and other heart problems, and one day passed out in front of my home in California. I woke up bleeding and on the street, confused about what happened.
After driving to the ER, I found out that the issue was bigger than I could imagine. The ER recommended an angiogram to help determine what was happening. When the results came back, I was told that my heart was failing and I needed to have an emergency “Quadruple heart Bypass” the next day. I was in shock but willing to do whatever it took for me to get better. ❤️
Now, one month later and after going through several “open heart” surgeries, my life has totally changed and I’m not sure what will happen next. But I’m a Christian and I’m certain God has my back and this all has happened for a reason.
This has been the toughest ordeal I’ve ever dealt with and I see now that I really need more help than I ever thought possible.
I’ve never asked anyone for anything but now I’m forced to humble myself and reach out for help! Please help with anything possible to make this transition back to my normal routine and life manageable. I would be forever grateful
Thank you very much in advance for your support and love during these difficult times.
Words cannot express how grateful I am to be surrounded by friends, family, and colleagues - and I thank you for sharing my story and experiences.
Best regards,
Rocky
