Musicians Relief and the fight against COVID19

As COVID19 continues to devastate many parts of the country, we know there are millions of Americans who are being negatively affected by this crisis. Our thoughts go out to each and every one of you.
Myself and Megan Stackpoole have collaborated to put this fundraiser together in order to support two objectives:
1. Donate and assist in the fight against COVID19.
2. Support musicians who have lost gigs over the last 4 weeks and who will likely lose gigs and income in the months to come.
The first $10,000 raised will go directly back to struggling musicians and anything after that will be split 50/50 between musician support and the fight against COVID19 (GetUsPPE.org ) None of the money will go to myself or Megan!
Megan is an incredibly accomplished, full-time, Orlando based musician, who has been playing live for years and has brought together a huge group of musicians in the Orlando area through her Facebook platforms, Gigs 4 Grabs Orlando and Gigs 4 Grabs Live.

I am currently an active duty Marine who plays music when I find breaks in my schedule. My passion for service to the country, music and those who play are the driving factor behind my support to this fundraiser.
Music is the first thing I considered to be a true passion of mine and I know hundreds of musicians around the country who feel the same. I perform when I find breaks in my schedule, however many musicians have decided to follow their passion and play music full-time. In doing so, the bulk of their annual income is generated from gigs at restaurants, bars, and venues. As large portions of our economy remain shut down, those musicians have lost their jobs and many are struggling to pay the bills and support their families.
As an active duty service member, I am incredibly fortunate to have a bi-monthly paycheck that has been unaffected by this crisis and because of that, I am starting this effort off by donating $3,000.
We would all love for you to support but if nothing else, please keep your eyes open for the many musicians who have been streaming their performances live on Facebook and Instagram! This is an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the music and to spread healing and positivity as we push through this crisis.
