UPDATE because so many people are messaging for updates I thought I would just add them here.

Jason has not had surgery yet to remove the mass. Because he was having severe chest pains, the surgeon wanted him to see a cardiologist first and be cleared for surgery. We’ve since had to see yet another specialist who will be assisting on the surgery. They’re actually going to do two separate surgeries at once. Jason is just sleeping a lot and in a lot of pain playing this waiting game. We will not know anything yet on a surgery date as the main surgeon is gone until next Monday. Please keep him in your prayers and especially that the pain level isn’t so crazy. Meanwhile I (Julie) have double pneumonia and am exhausted we really need all the prayers right now! I signed up with a couple of delivery places to try and make some extra money during all this so I need to recover quickly.

Hello everyone.

It’s a hard thing to ask for help but we are drowning quickly here.

I took Jason to the ER with severe pain, the kind of massive pain where you can’t even stand up to walk.

They found a mass on his kidney and said it’s an 85% chance of cancer. He’s lost 40 lbs in a month.

We’ve been to several appointments and specialists and Jason hasn’t been able to work for 3 weeks now. If you know my Piglet then you know he’s going absolutely stir crazy. He’s always worked nonstop to take such good care of our family so this is hard on him.

We see a cardiologist today to clear him for surgery and then he can begin to heal and recover.

I realize this is the worst economy to ask for anyone’s help. If you can help even the tiniest bit we will be forever grateful. If you can only share this and say a prayer we are forever grateful too. Thank you and God bless.
