hi, my name is jodie and I’m fundraising for my mum Kate Smith who has sadly lost her life to addiction on the 3rd June 2025.

My mum was a kind hearted women who struggled with the terrible illness of battling addiction. She was a giver, who helped encourage and motivate her peers whilst also fighting her own battles. My mum tried multiple times to change her life for better but some things aren’t as easy as some would think. She also struggled with bipolar which inevitably impacted her mental health. She has been through many unimaginable experiences during her short life so I want to be able to show her the love and support she didn’t realise was there. We are asking for help towards a funeral because everyone deserves a proper, respectful final goodbye, but as a mother myself it is hard to find the money to provide one. I know it isn’t ideal and I wish I could do this myself, but I would really appreciate any contribution towards the funds, thankyou
