Emergency Surgery for Roo

Hello, My name is Gordon, recently my dog named Roo was running, and while doing so caused damage to the right rear leg. I took him over across to Riverview Animal Health Centre to see what the damage entailed. Upon review, Dr. Dwan told me that Roo would need a TPLO implant on his right rear knee. Upon getting a quote it came out to be $7,659.99. He informed me that after the surgery Roo would be 100% and it is a simple procedure. I got Roo from an old friend of mine Scotty, I got him about 3-4 years ago and he has been my life ever since. He travels with me everywheres I go, all the folks who have met Roo have fallen in love with him. He is very unique and different. He is a Austrailian Shepard and there is some wolf connections as well. He is extremely kind and gentle, he loves children and small dogs. We think he was a politican in his last life as people just gravitate towards him everywhere's I go. One day two little girls came up to me when I was loading groceries at Sobeys and said "OMG he is so beautiful he is so beautiful" and asked if they could pet Roo, I said of course, and then the older of the two said "he looks just like Brad Pitt" (Do you see the resemblence?)

. It's like hanging out with Brad Pitt as well because no matter where I am someone wants to see and meet Roo. Everyone seems to smile and enjoy being around him! Like myself, a lot of people are unable to afford the services offered by vets and it makes it very hard when they need emergency surgery. There is an incredible amount of people who's pets need a minor surgery but can't afford it and have to loss a furry family member way to early which is not right. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
