UPDATE: After meeting with our contractor, we've realized that the cost of materials and labor are a little more than we originally thought. In addition, improvements in the front bar/lounge and the replacement of certain key elements (such as our rear door) will be needed as well. This work will allow us to continue programing full nights with front room DJs, back room bands, and everything in between.
Your support thus far has been has been astonishing - more than we ever would have thought. Please help us reach our new goal so that we can tackle all of our sound issues, once and for all, and let's move forward building this community. ___________________ C'mon Everybody's one year anniversary is quickly approaching. It's been a wild ride and we couldn't be more proud of what we've accomplished and the talent that's graced our home. We've even been rated one of the top bars in Bed-Stuy by Brooklyn Magazine for our efforts to create an inclusive community space, and received a nod by the New York Times for Take Two Storytelling!
Unfortunately for our neighbors, not all of our events are as easy on the ears as a night of personal narrative. We're having a serious sound bleed problem, and we need your help.
Less than one year into the life of the space, we are still rebounding from the enormous cost of our build out and start up. Our neighbors have been very patient as we've worked toward gathering the funds necessary for improving our soundproofing, but time is running out.
This is where we need your help. We are asking you, our friends and patrons, to help us reach our goal and solve this problem, so that we can continue hosting, and giving a home to, the amazing talent that we believe in so much.
As a thank you, we're offering some killer incentives for your generosity.
Please, help us be the best neighbors we can be, while we provide you with the exciting events and lineups that make this your home.
Thank you, Eric, Mike, Sam, and Anthony C'mon Everybody
