On May 28th, Jeffrey Butt, husband of Julie and father to Kassidy and Kayla, suddenly found himself in critical condition fighting for his life in the ICU at Brigham and Women's Hospital. What initially seemed to be just an ear infection, Jeff developed sepsis, bacterial meningitis and an infection in the temporal lobe. On June 6th, Jeff will undergo critical craniotomy surgery of his skull to repair the damage caused by the infection.

Jeff is a self-employed contractor who will be out of work for several months to recover. Julie has been unable to work since Jeff’s admission. To alleviate the burden of expenses related to the lengthy hospital admission and rehab, we have set up this GoFundMe page. Any donation for the Butt family would be greatly appreciated.
