Jen’s medical bills

On February 29, what started out as what had seemed like a normal cold, quickly became clear as something much more. After visiting Cape Canaveral Hospital it was confirmed to be a nasty strain of flu. Sent home with a cough and medicine she was told to “push on through”. One more visit to the Health First Viera ER a few days later they found she had slightly torn a lung, again with a few pain meds she was sent on her way. That was the 7th of March. By the 17th, not only had she not gotten any better, she could feel her internal organs shutting down. Jen was again rushed to Viera ER and there it was quickly found that she was riddle with major infections. Jen had become highly anemic, her white blood cell count was 5x the norm, her kidneys had begun to shut down and her lungs were foiled with pneumonia. Transferred to Holmes she underwent emergency lung surgery to clear as much as possible. Fighting all the infections and trying to somewhat recover from the initial surgery has completely torn her body down. We finally got a definitive answer… Jen’s body and lungs are completely racked with MRSA. She will return for a more intense surgery soon where she will be put on a ventilator and her lungs collapsed to scrape as much as possible.
Any amount helps during this time while she is on leave from work.
