Delta Zeta Duke Out Fundraiser

Every year, Delta Zeta chapters all over the country come together to raise money for The Painted Turtle Camp. Although the camp is located in California, this cause is very near and dear to our hearts. 

The Painted Turtle Camp is a summer camp dedicated to giving a camp experience to children who normally would not be able to enjoy such a thing. The camp is specifically for children with chronic illnesses and their entire trip is funded through scholarships provided organizations like Delta Zeta.

These children and their families are provided a week of vacation in which all necessary medical equipment and personnel are readily available in order to take the stress off of the individual families. Each week, the camp sponsors a different specific illness which allows children and parents to talk and relate to others who go through the same things that they do every day.
