After hours of heartfelt preaching, crying and leading, Taliya Denham of Chicago, 22, was arrested at the protest for the justice of George Floyd.
A man who is a well known protest antagonizer kept instigating domestic terrorist attacks against the protestors by showing up to each Florida protest with his antagonizing crew and live streaming the action to his platforms. His followers were in the live videos writing comments like “Shoot them all!” as he continued to portray the protestors in a negative light.
Taliya Denham, scared for her life, begged police officers to remove him from the crowd, but they refused. He also refused when she personally asked him to stop recording.
Marco island is primarily an all white community where several citizens have noted that that local police, government, and citizens are all in cahoots to throw the book at her.
A white man was arrested at the protest with a loaded assault rifle and was only charged with a misdemeanor, while Taliya was immediately arrested & charged with a Felony and a Misdemeanor for Battery (Although she never put her hands anyone!)
This GoFundMe was made for the purpose of raising money for Taliya’s legal fees, reform through motivational mentorship, and donations back to her community!
