Campaign for Eva

With great sadness, we received the news that our dear friend Eva was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer (primary peritoneal carcinoma). Eva is too weak to work and support herself, and many of the treatments she's seeking are not covered by insurance.

Eva is a deeply caring and compassionate person who has dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting the physical, emotional and spiritual growth of others. Everyone who knows her has witnessed her warmth, kindness and ability to show up in the world with grace and authenticity. We are asking for your financial support as she embarks on this deeply challenging journey. No amount is too large or small and all contributions will be received with tremendous gratitude. It’s already incredibly difficult to face the physical and psychological challenges of a cancer diagnosis, but having to deal with financial worries while fighting for your survival is truly inhumane.

To my beloved family, friends, community of yogis and yoginis, and anyone else I may not know who takes the time to read this. I come to this platform with a humble heart especially after reading other medical testimonials here. Like many of you, I also have a level of discomfort asking for financial help. For those of you who know me, you know that I resonate with a more natural and holistic lifestyle. I have shared my beliefs and passion for this type of lifestyle through my teachings of yoga, meditation, health coaching and alternative healing. I was recently diagnosed with cancer and I am opting for a treatment that combines conventional, complementary and alternative medicine. Unfortunately, at this point in history, these types of treatments are not covered by insurance and are quite expensive. I am in a fragile state, (down to 85 lbs.), and quite honestly I don't think that I would survive a full-on aggressive conventional chemo/surgical protocol. I have done lots of research and strongly believe that I can go about this in a less toxic way. So I am asking for your help, if you can, for my life. I don't like sounding so dramatic, but it's the reality I'm facing.
